Umm...yes.

I have to say I'm always somewhat anxious to start a Kennedy Fox book because insta-love is there without a doubt! It's not my favorite, but TAMING HIM...well, let's just say it's the exception.
Everything was really well paced, I couldn't have seen the romance go any other way! I'm seriously floored here guys, because not only was this story so much fun (the usual with KF), but I actually really enjoyed it! I laughed, I swooned, I giggled like a little girl dammit!

Also, I have to admit that when Alex was first introduced, I kept thinking he wouldn't do it for me. I love love love cowboys, but Alex's cocky self came off a bit too strong. And maybe this had to do with the fact that he is the youngest Bishop brother. HOWEVER, I was quickly swept off of my feet and redirected and I was completely smitten. The way he cares for River is unlike any other. A real southern gentleman who of course, know how to kick it in the sheets. Can I get an AMEN?

From River and Alex's first encounter until the very end, I felt it all! These two hit it off right away and the romance ride doesn't stop. The story is set in two parts, one on vacation where they meet, and the other in the realities of their life.
While a lot of the bigger issues are somewhat glossed over, I didn't really come into this book to find a heavy, emotional read. Kennedy Fox fuels my fun and sexy romance read desire and boy, did they give it!

I really enjoyed this one with its sweet banter and hot chemistry, and I can't wait to continue on with this series! I'm especially looking forward to Evan's story... *heart eyes*

While on vacation, city girl / nurse River and country boy / rancher Alex meet at a hotel breakfast. They have a couple of chance encounters that keep bringing them together, and they decide for the remainder of their trips, they'll stick together for both hook ups and activities. No strings attached. It doesn't take either of them very long to realize there may be unwanted feelings forming, however.

After the trip, they reluctantly go back their separate ways, back to the real world. What River didn't realize was that she took more home than she expected.

Part 1 of the book was a fairly fast burn read. Part 2 was much slower. Overall, it was a sweet read, and I did enjoy it for the most part. I just found part 2 dragged on a bit. It all still had stuff going on, and it showed River getting to know Alex and his family, but it still seemed like a lot of filler.

The next story is about Alex's oldest brother, Evan. I am a bit curious about him, but this book just wasn't enough for me to want to continue reading the series, unfortunately.

Love, love, love! Taming Him is such a sweet and fun book!

Taming Him is the first in the Bishop Brothers Series. It introduces us to the whole family, but it’s Alex and River’s story. Basically, it starts with Alex and his best friend, Dylan, going on a vacation to Key West and River doing the same with her friends. Alex and River wind up together on their trip and have an amazing time, and they part ways with River having gotten pregnant. Obviously, she doesn’t know that at the time, and they don’t reconnect until a couple months later when she surprises Alex by going down to his ranch in Texas. After initially being irritated with her never contacting him since Key West, he’s elated that she’s finally with him again. The rest of the book follows them through really getting to know each other and building a real relationship.

So, this is the first real cowboy romance I’ve ever read, and I am hooked now! I cannot say enough good things about this book. The story was so sweet, sexy, and compelling! I couldn’t put it down. Both the main characters were so likable, and I loved seeing how their connection just got stronger and stronger throughout the book. Alex is all rough and sexy cowboy, and River is the adorable but intelligent nurse. I loved their journey to their happily ever after.

So, should you read it? Yes! You won’t want to put it down. It’s everything a good book should be.

I'm a sucker for happy endings and I did love this one.

Part 1 was better than part 2 but I did still enjoy it mainly. Part 2 got a bit odd with Alex going to randomly meet his brother. Was a strange curve but hey wasn't awful.

Sort of curious about the next book.

Waaay to go Bishop boys

This started out SO GREAT. The first half is absolutely exceptional. It’s hot. It’s sweet. It’s fun. I adore Kennedy Fox’s writing. Then, we get to the second half and it turns into a super saccharine version of reality that is so chipper and perfect that it made me want to vomit. That was hella harsh and I’m sorry. Maybe I’m just used to more angst, but good LORD. But, again, it has nothing to do with the writing. I think Kennedy Fox is an amazing author. This story just wasn’t impressive. I do think I’ll continue the series, though, because I’m super intrigued about the rest of the Bishop brothers. Let’s just hope for more angst!
