Powerful, Sexy, and Fantastic Series!

What an incredible series. So many twists and turns, and i loved the writing! Haley was a badasssss bitch and her sassy nature truly made the book! Incredible spice, a top RH for me! HIGHLY recommend! So sad to say goodbye to this series!

good series

I really liked this series, the twists, turns, and the high emotion that literally dripped from their hearts. However, book 4 felt a bit rushed to me - for a 3 book build up, the climax and ultimate conclusion was just a bit too fast.

Book The Witch’s Monsters series by Sarah Piper
Sarah Piper is the absolute best at RH and picks the amazing narrators like Mackenzie Cartwright, Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, and Teddy Hamilton.
This series has a lot darker feel to it compared to other series especially has this one is based in a version of living hell (Midnight).
Haley is a powerful blood witch with so many secrets but a lot history and so much more not explained.

Series review: Fun! Enjoyable heroine, likeable heroes with distinct personalities and relationships, interesting and full world, engaging plot. I didn't love the book 4 cliffhanger but otherwise the series arc felt solid. I had no idea this was a spinoff from another series, which confused me early on when it seemed like I was expected to know backstory, but it didn't ultimately matter to understanding this series.

The conclusion of Haley's story. She and her Monsters get their HEA.

I think the book would've been better if Haley, Evander, Jax, and Hudson hadn't spent the first two-thirds of the book sulking over Saint/Elian's death-- especially since, spoiler, he comes back from the dead.

The big showdown between Haley and Melantha was disappointing. We spent 4 books leading up to a big battle between the two powerful women just for it to go down in a few paragraphs. Haley pretty much walks up to her, grabs her neck, and sucks out her power. No Battle Royale. Melantha is all hype and intimidation but doesn't ever actually DO anything.

Spicy, spicy. We finally get some group love. It was a little off-putting that they all decided to get it on to the soundtrack of the city's people searching for survivors. But shmexy times are had. Everyone is happy. Queen of Midnight.

3.5. The writing is good but it went from a smutty fantasy action with lots of magic to really really sad and depressing with a lot of details. I still liked it but wasn’t expecting well over 100 pages of grief.

Heart-wrenching!   This was such an amazing ending to the series!  There was more backstory for some of our characters.  There was redemption.  There was action.  It was so good.

I could not wait for this book after the massive cliffhanger Blood and Madness left off on. I could not put this story down and I enjoyed every moment. It was entertaining, emotional and an overall great story. I loved the protectiveness that Haley had for her monsters and Mackenzie Cartwright really brought that out in her performance. Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton and Aaron Shedlock nailed their performances throughout this entire story. All four narrators brought this story to life capturing all the emotions of their characters. Another great series from Sarah Piper and an amazing listen.

Fantastic ending to a great series. This book left off where book 3 left off. Elian is dead. Haley and her men are captured by the Ferial fae. My girl Haley is a boss a** bitch that fights for every single person in Midnight and takes no one’s s**t. Finally got the group smutt we all have been dying for. The only thing I wish there was a chapter after it all when Haley goes to Earth to see her sisters. I wanted to be able to see those characters again even though they are relevant to this story. It would be nice to do a where are they now type of thing.
