Coffee? Yes, please, Jeeves.
I'm going to take what might be a minority position and say this wrapped up at just the right time. I feel quite satisfied but also quite done with it.

Have a coffee (thanks, Jeeves) and I'll tell you more.
I agree that the Medeiros angle was unnecessary, except perhaps that it gave the Bobs some ideas they could later use against another opponent.

Beer? Yes, please.
Disappointed that no one zapped Rosie.
Maybe we spent too long with Archimedes et al.
The Bridget story arc was predictable but reasonably well handled.

Oops, time for coffee.
The diverging personalities continued to be well done.

Overall -- more coffee? -- the series deserves marks for its enormous reach, for its occasional nods to actual science, and to some pretty good pacing.

I'll watch for more Taylors.

The whole trilogy was really fun but the first book made the strongest impression to me.

I enjoyed my time in the Bobiverse. I enjoy the quick wit and banter between the Bob's. I enjoyed the shape of the story and think that this book is excellent.

... There is only one thing I don't get. After book 2, why wouldn't the Bob's start gaming opposition plays to fight against? It seems to me that a Bob would be designated to think about just that and do game simulations to build up the defenses and close the loopholes that might be open to keep the humans (and others species they oversee for that matter) safe.

Great story. Enjoy the writing. Fun... but if it were me, a few chapters of a Bob working as an opposition to the current state would have been an interesting path.
