This was good. Interesting concept, reminded me of hades x persephone but throw in a murder mystery and haunted manor and that’s the vibe. I’d reread only if I was looking for a niche story like this and this vibe is all that could curb my book craving

I LOVED this book!! I read it without knowing what to expect other than it was a romance with death, but it was SO much more. It turned out to be a sort of murder mystery combined with a romance with death (which are two of my favorite kinds of books). The writing and descriptive words used by the author just pulled me in. The book is very well written with the main focus being solving a murder and hoping that Signa is finally able to make a life with a family without “death” taking everything from her. I loved this book, as it kept me trying to solve the mystery until near the end. I absolutely can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

A fantasy book with a gothic vibe and a mystery! Belladonna had me intrigued from the beginning and I enjoyed my time with Signa at Thorn Grove. I can’t wait to see where this trilogy goes!
