I was expecting another “wow”-worthy book by Emily Henry, but this one felt a little scattered and not fully fleshed out. The narrator still made this book really enjoyable, her acting was great!

I usually think it’s self indulgent for writers to write about other writers, and a few of Emily Henry’s other books this feeling remained. This one didn’t feel indulgent. It felt healing. A story about celebrity, love, obsession, and the true priorities of life.
