somewhere between a 3 and a 3.5 i think?

i'm honestly not too sure how to feel about this -- i feel like i enjoyed margaret's story and the parts about the ives family way more than alice and hayden's story. to me, the romance fell a bit flat and i feel like they fell in love wayyyy too fast (they literally knew each other for less than a month? idk maybe i'm just still stuck on the angst of people we meet on vacation) and their scenes got kind of stale/repetitive for me after a bit. overall this was a pretty quick read, and it definitely held my attention, but some elements just didn't really end up being for me unfortunately :(

All the things I love from Emily Henry! Witty, grumpy/sunshine, full of heart. All the family history was a lot to keep track of but I still loved it.
