This is a collection of speeches, so when read as a book, it was repetitive and didn’t dig as deep into certain issues as I would have liked. However, this is still a deeply informative and inspiring collection that has encouraged me to think of social injustices as global rather than national.

Angela Davis is insightful and powerful! I highly recommend this as a required reading for these troubling times.
