Carter is the CEO of Scott Security and is horrible to work for. He didn’t want an admin assistant in the office, but his partner hired Emily without consulting him. After his rough childhood, he has no desire to have a relationship and is well-known for his playboy behavior. Emily has just got out of a horrible relationship and needs a new start. With no other job prospects, she is desperate for a job; even one working for a grumpy playboy. She plans on keeping her head down and doing her job. Unfortunately, the attraction between Emily and Carter is instantaneous and the policy for dating other employees is strict.
This was a great book, and I am so glad I discovered this author. I highly recommend it and look forward to reading more books by the author.
