I cared more about the ranch and Haven family drama than I did about West and Indya’s issues and relationship. As characters, I found them likable but I wasn’t buying the relationship. It always felt like the book was lacking something and I found myself wondering why they weren’t together from the start instead just so I wouldn’t have to read about them stumbling around until they got together.

If Devney writes it, I read it. This did not disappoint! I absolutely loved this small town, second-chance romance. I already love Haven River Ranch and can't wait for the next one!

Cried a lot. Was good, some of the writing occasionally felt juvenile. Not necessarily the writing is juvenile, but wrote Indya at 13 the same way as Indya at 8, basically 13 yr old Indy sounded like she was still 8.

THE MAN THAT IS WEST HAVEN!!

this was so much more than a typical cowboy romance. this had some heartfelt and also heart wrenching moments. also some of the best spicy scenes (for someone who usually skips them)

i have discovered that friends to lovers is not my favorite romance trope, but this one was one of my favorites.

i would die if a man said to me what West says to Indya "my girl can cy whenever the fuck she wants"
