This plethora of stories and voices shows that disability is not a monolith. As a non-disabled person, I really value the breadth of experience that Wong included, and I think it’ll be a great foray for me to become more involved with disability justice. Wong also has an ongoing GoFundMe for medical expenses if you read and got something out of this book and want to contribute: https://www.gofundme.com/f/alice-wong-stay-in-community

This book was so good and informative! I felt so seen by some of the stories that fellow disabled people told that I don't doubt that I'll pick this up again someday to look at all the passages I tabbed.

I have seen a lot of people picking it up this month for Disability Pride Month and I can only hope that this is not gonna be the only book about disability that abled people are gonna be reading...

But I'm so glad I finally own a physical copy of this book and I was finally able to read it! Can't wait for the next book in this "series" to be released!

I loved every moment of reading this and it was my first book now that I finally have a library card back in my life. I will be highly recommending this book to everyone I can.
