An okay team-up story between these superheroes and a good introduction to those unfamiliar with them. The new issues try hard to catch readers up with the backstory of Kate and of Kara but since there are old issues dedicated entirely to doing just that, it was a bit much.
As someone who does know them, Batwoman in particular, it was a bit surface level. Kate was a bit too chipper, she makes snarky comments, but not this often. Her inner monologue was better though. Also, I get that banter is necessary for a team-up, but not so much that the dialogue is almost unintelligible because there are so many quips.
Not sure where in the timeline for each hero is the story supposed to take place. Supergirl seems to match early Rebirth (based on the #1 issue in this giant) but Kate was part of the Bat-family back then, and she says she doesn't team up with others here. The presence of Alice hints at an earlier Kate and it could be a younger Kara, I'm not going to question continuity too much.
The art is beautiful. Shame this is a hard comic to get hold of, and it's not even available through comixology.
