I hate that I’m invested in what is happening enough to place a hold on book 3. Cannot say enough how bummed I am that this book had no chemistry scenes. They just happen to have chem lab together. Also it is painfully obvious that I am older than them and I kinda hate it

Okay don’t get me wrong I personally didn’t like the first book that much, but figured maybe I was just missing something. However I wanted to figure out what happened in the second book and I honestly stopped really reading through it. And ultimately I just looked up how the book last book ended. I just felt there was to much back and forth and not enough get to the point.

I get it okay? Same mediocre plot. She’s the one, the average girl who the hot, rich playboy finally falls for and does everything in his power to acquire her and her attention. Because she “gets” him, and sees him for what he is and not his money. Sigh.

She admits the way he does things to get her heart would have been distressing and creepy had he not been hot. Sigh twice.

I tried yeah? This story didn’t really have the potential to develop into something beautiful, and I knew that when I started it. Still, turns out I was searching the wrong place for what I wanted. I just don’t care for this book or the characters anymore.

Martin is genuinely such a horrible choice for a name. It’s killing me.

I'm on a roll here with these books.
Earlier today I finished book one and because this picks up literally right after I needed to continue.
I have a love/hate relationship with this series so far. Like yeah, it's entertaining and quick but the characters are so stupid and dramatic. They can be pretty great at times but mostly I'm just frustrated.
Hopefully book three will be better.

Parker was so weird. I like her but there's also just something about her that irritates me so much. I don't understand why she has to analyze everything all the damn time. I want her to be spontaneous and fun. She is always in her head about everything and I get so annyed by her.
I like that she is strong and determined but she also needs to chill.
Although I find Kaitlyn frustrating I also really like the way she thinks. She is so smart and has great opinions about things. I admire and respect her decision to leave Martin because it was the right choice.

Martin is also annoying as fuck. He is so controlling and sometimes he doesn't know the difference between what's right and what's wrong. He needs to realize that he is so full of hate for his father and let it go.

I'm as always very interested to see how all of this will play out.
