really enjoyed this book! so glad i picked it up.
there are a lot of lessons in this book, also it has islamic theme jugak which i appreciate it. i love the inner monologues because some of it are very relatable. i don't go through what amani had gone through but having a trauma, i can say i feel pretty much the same as her. i really like afrina's writing, i tabbed a lot of the pages just because i like a certain paragraph.
amani is a strong woman; falling into a deep hole and trying to get out is hard. but you can see her determination to heal and get better. she sticks true to her beliefs. you can see how she views herself due to the inner monologue.
also, i really appreciate how considerate najmi is towards her. he respects her space and although it's bare minimum, i still appreciate it.
personally, some of the settings for lagenda is a bit confusing to me and there were a few typos as well. the timeline is also a bit confusing at first. nevertheless, it was a good read.

For the ones who would rather hate themselves than forgive their past self. This one's for you.
If you ever smell salt while reading this, kindly ignore. It is just my evaporated tears from the pages since I cried every day writing this book. This will forever be my most personal book.
