This book has Gilmore Girls vibes for sure would be such a lovely fall/winter read. I genuinely loved all the characters and felt like crying in empathy so many times.

On one hand, I do think I prefer the story of the first novel in this interconnected universe a bit more. I considered giving this a 4.75 because of that. On the other hand, though, this was still a gorgeous story of found family that had me tearing up and sometimes straight sobbing. This book has such a beautiful representation of magic in it. Its breathtaking. The true star of the show, though, is definitely the charcters and their relationships with one another. You'll get me ever time with a cast of goofy, lovable characters!
