I have had this book on my shelf for a while and had high expectations for it. I just felt let down by it.
This concept was really cool, and I wanted to like it a lot, but I felt like this wasn't flushed out enough. I love Tessa Bailey and love her books, but this one felt like it was just a first draft of a book. I felt like there were things that were left open ended / not described enough.
Also, personally insta-love isn't for me, and I don't think it fit well with the characters in the story.
Overall, I hope someone takes the idea of a bounty hunter & a true crime fan and writes another romance, loved the concept, but the story fell flat.

THIS is a super cute book
~ it was the opposite to what i expected it to be . it was a fun cute book. i gave it 5 stars because in this moment in time its what i needed .
tessas books are a hit or miss for me so i djdnt know what to expect when reading this!!! HOWEVER THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST TESSA BOOKS EVER . it had the same charm thet hook line and sinker, secretly yours , and it happened one summer have . it was cute and fun!!

**This book started out a little slow and I, for some reason, thought it was about vampire hunters(?!), but it definitely gets better!
