This was so sweet and fun. I am craving my own vacation now (and the mean bounty hunter with a soft center, too, of course).
The characters had immediate connection and somehow it just worked. With every scene they shared it all made more and more sense. They clicked. They belonged together.
The mystery aspect was a fun addition.
Can't wait for my preorder to come in June so I can proudly put it on my shelf.

i spent the entire story being like “shut up you literally met less than a week ago” and i got so bored during a sex scene that i fell asleep, so it’s likely i am not the target audience for this book.

but it’s also possible no one is because it unironically used “nut”, “johnson”, and “healthy swimmers” in a sexual context and the mystery had zero complexity. like if they had spent less time agonizing about wanting to have sex with each other they could have solved it in a single afternoon
