The age gap definitely ruins it for me. It may be legal in Japan but it is still creepy and highly questionable.

I'm conflicted, because this works so well as a light comedy with indications of future character development to flesh things out, but there's still the constant underlying ick factor of her being 16 and him being 26. It could still grow into strong-mutually-beneficial-character-building-friendship territory, but there is the implied expectation that this frenemy-ship will eventually turn into romance, which between a teen and an adult is just...nyerg. :S I know Japan has different attitudes about teen romance, but it still strikes me as a creepy power/maturity imbalance, even if this particular adult is rather immature himself in many ways.
I will pick up the second volume to see how this goes, but I'm still conflicted.

funny, feisty characters but the humor is quickly sapped away when you remember the power dynamic. I can't get into this. Especially because the 16 year old is "wise beyond her years". Barf. Sometimes I wish I could take away my critical reading skills and just blissfully enjoy problematic manga.

I love Yuki Shiwasu

Its super cute and the leads are perfect for each other.

Stopped after the 1st chapter because I can't get over the 10-year age gap between a 16yr old and a 26yr old. Very insta lovey and the first chapter ended with a kiss. Didn't like how he basically blackmailed her to go on a date (told her that her dad would be fired from his job). I ate up the kabedons and the banter but only would've only felt comfortable continuing if she was 26 and he was 36.

Cute and light. I laughed out loud several times--it's very fun and quite sweet. The age gap is a little steep, but both characters are so innocent (especially the guy, haha!) that I can't imagine anything inappropriate happening before she turns 18.

This was funny. I loved the comebacks. The age difference is uncomfortable imo though (she's 16, he's 26).

Given my American sensibilities on age gap, I find the 16-26 relationship cringy, but it's not my culture. You could argue that no 16 year old has power in a relationship with an older man; Hana has about as much power as anyone could have, so at least it attempts to walk the line. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it hits all the notes - sweet, funny, smart.

So cute!
