Well-written as always. Gerritsen is good at developing believable and relatable characters. I wish I hadn’t read the blurb on the back of the book, because it gave away a lot of the shock factors of the plot. I am a teacher and was disappointed in how little the teachers and the principal in the book listen to their students, but I guess some teachers are like that. I gobbled up this book and was surprised at the ending. I’ll definitely continue to read more of her work.

Another good thriller by Gerritson, while not as good as Gravity it still manages to keep you gripping it with white knuckles.

Something is wrong in the little town of Tranquility Maine. Dr Claire Elliot and her son, Noah, moved to the town to get away from memories in Baltimore, but things aren't working out in Tranquility. Patients aren't coming to see the new doc in town and Noah's classmates are becoming increasingly more violent. Escalating vandalism, fights, murder is becoming frequent and no one knows what to do.
Claire knows she has to find the answer before it affects her son.

I haven't read/listened to the unabridged version of this book. This abridgment raised several questions in my mind while listening to it. Many times I felt as it I had missed some vital information as the story progressed. This left me completely unsatisfied and other the story as a whole.

Just about what I thought it would be; a mediocre but entertaining medical mystery that wasn't overshadowed by useless romance. An ok read for vacation!

A very very complicated plot. Well written and well read on Audible. Bit over ambitious maybe
