It's weird to "enjoy" a book with such a detestable character at its core. But there we are. This novel, with its large cast of characters and many layers of betrayal, held me captive from start to finish. I highly recommend the audio version, as the male voice (narrator Richard Armitage) is perfectly deep and dark.

Of course another five star book from the queen of thrillers, Lisa Jewell.
I will never skip a release from her and I am never disappointed. Hooked from the very first page, until the last.
I cannot describe to you how good this book is, albeit incredibly frustrating as we all know that men like this continue to exist and flourish in the society that we live in.
The story, the writing, the conclusion - all perfection. I couldn't put this down.

This book was entertaining enough. I enjoyed the character-driven aspect of this story the most. You just know the gaslighting is going to be spot on with a con man storyline. Lisa Jewell definitely delivered on that front. The timeline jumps were a bit confusing in the beginning, and I think that's what made me lose interest in the story and I just couldn’t reconnect. With all the buildup, I still found this book to be pretty predictable. I definitely enjoyed the second half of the book versus the first half.

I feel like readers will really enjoy this story and Lisa Jewell is one of the best. Thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for the eArc of Don’t Let Him In.
