I DNFed the audiobook. It was so factual and dry. One would think that it is an easy listen because it's so short, but I just wasn't interested enough given the blandness.

While it does not always feature the most scintillating of prose, the real life facts of the Donnie Brasco operation make this a solid read. I particularly like that it does not romanticise mob life. This matter of fact approach probably contributes to the simplistic style of the text, but for a non-fiction work like this I prefer accuracy over fancy phrasings, any day.
