Laura's writing just keeps getting better and better!
Anna has been married 3 times and is determined it won't happen again. When she's caught in a compromising position with Harry, he announced they are engaged to avoid a scandal. Throughout the book you come to find out why they are so set against marriage and scandal respectively.
One of the strengths of Laura's writing is that she touches on issues not normally discussed in the world of regency romance. For me this adds depth to the characters and the plots.
