I really like how odd it was. It was a beautiful told story but it was odd. Its will done with a few twists in it. Some you can see coming sooner then others.

this is a book very convincingly written from the perspective of a guy who has never left his huge weird house. the problem is that a guy who has never left his huge weird house is not always the most interesting to listen to

I expected this book to be very strongly about Greek mythology, and while that plays a role, the story Clarke has written exceeds calling it just of that category.
