I knew nothing about this book going into it and I wouldn't have it any other way. I really love Piranesi as a protagonist and seeing how he experiences life through his journal entires. At first, I thought I wasn't going to be super into this book but then things began to unravel and I enojyed this story very much!
I would love to revisit the House and this book again in the future :)

What did I just read?

In the beginning, I remember considering postponing this book and read another book instead … I'm glad I didn't.

This book is fascinating. The way everything is put together is nearly flawless.

The setting is spectacular - at least when you get into it (it was jarring at first).
The characters are very well written, especially the protagonist.
The plot is ... weird, but in the best way.

I admit, it is quite a niche book, and won't at all be for everyone. But anyone who loves exploring psychology, or someone who likes a mysterious plot - I think you'd love Piranesi.
