This is the first book that I have read by this author. I really enjoyed how it was a memoir meets self help book. Glennon makes a lot of powerful points that made me spend a good about of time reflecting. I also applaud how open Glennon is about her flaws and mistakes. How she is brave to write a book and change things she has stood for in the past. Because don’t we all change over time? Great read, with a lot of women’s empowerment and finding yourself advice. This book also had some LOL moments. The author became very human with her readers and that made this book more relatable and impactful.

I loved this book. There were so many lessons I learned, things I resonated with that I didn’t even realize I would have before reading and digesting it. I already know I will want to reread this book often to remind myself of the  lessons in this book, to refocus on myself, who I am and what I’m doing

Parts of this book touched me deeply and really made me think. Other parts I couldn’t connect to because of the gap between me and the author. That’s not really her fault, though, and I’d still highly recommend this book. I often found myself completely absorbed by writing, forgetting that there was a world around us.

A great book for any woman who is learning how to better honour themselves.

Really enjoyed the first half, felt myself getting less interested in the second half.
