I recommend this to anyone who wants a brief primer on a ton of amazing, brilliant women. I can't wait till my niece is old enough for me to give her this book.

This was a great book just to learn about more female scientists who discovered, invented, etc parts of math, chemistry, astronomy, biology, and many more. This is a great book for someone who wants to learn about more than just one person but in a biography setting. Each story only lasts a few minutes so it's easy to pay attention to.
challenging informative slow-paced

If I had the money, I'd buy copies of this book for every school-aged kid in the U.S. It's high-time we made names like Alice Bell as recognizable as Albert Einstein!

I'm not sure why I never marked this "read," as I finished it months ago. It was very entertaining, informative, and satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would have liked a picture of each woman (if available).

As someone interested in technology and historian, this book provided a fascination introduction into the lives and careers of many fascinating women. Some names, such as Sally Ride and Florence Nightingale, might be familiar. Others will be less so, but just as interesting with equally impressive accomplishments. Since it covers 52 different women, only a few pages can be spent on each one. However, the author makes every chapter gripping, leaving the reader hungry to learn more about these noteworthy individuals.

A good intro into many women scientists, inventors, and mathematicians.
informative inspiring medium-paced

really interesting and important real life stories about all the kickass scientists that don’t get the recognition they deserve. i’m sure i would’ve liked it more if i was more into science.
