I have very mixed feelings about this book, at first, I was enjoying the book but as it went on it become very all over the place and things didn't add up. For example
when they get the interview with Kelly's stalker Jesse when he mentions seeing her with a cop the cop explains it away as oh it's her husband, he's a cop but in my head if he's a stalker he would know if he was her husband or not just another cop and they don't look into it anymore cop or anyone else in the investigation and that annoyed the hell out of me. Obviously, I know it was done on kind on purpose since they didn't want him to get off anyways but little things like this annoying throughout the book.
The book just turned into a shit storm at the end, and it wasn't a great one it just more made me pissed more than anything and felt like a waste of time.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. Even though it was extremely predictable (like I predicted all the big twists
minus the one where she actually worked with Bobby to do it; didn't see that one coming; and they got married
) but I was still entertained. I read it in one day. I liked Sarah's POVs. Adam's on the other hand annoyed me so much especially in the beginning. He was just acting like an idiot the whole time. Although the book wasn't masterpiece by any means it did what it had to do and was really entertaining for me. If you're going to read it I defintely recommend the audiobook.

Police procedures weren't accurate, but this is a novel... Nothing has to be spot on. I found it to be entertaining and couldn't put it down.

I did not correctly guess the murderer until the very end. I was definitely surprised!
I was able to guess that Sgt Stevens was Kelly’s 3rd man.

I do agree with some of the other readers that some parts are unrealistic - like how Sarah wasn’t really questioned as a suspect (she was the wife and cheated on), Sarah representing her husband (it did make for a super interesting plot point though), etc.

I did feel like I was left hanging at a few points. Like I thought small instances would lead to something else, but that didn’t really happen. I was also very confused at Sarah’s hook-up scene at night with an unidentified person.

Whatttttt ?????? Am I missing something here? Because that ending was 💩. "This book is overhyped" is an understatement. I mean really??? This story is soooo unbelievable. Way too out there and way too far fetched. I didn't like any of the characters not even Sarah. I know Adam is GROSS but did he really deserve what happened to him in the end?? And why were all those backstories introduced in the story if they had absolutely no role to play in the story. This is definitely not how this story would have played out in real life.  Definitely the worst thriller I have read so far this year. 2 stars 🌟🌟
