4.5 rounded up 
A slight side step from my usual genre of choice but being a horror/thriller/paranormal lover I have no idea why it’s taken me this long to get into that genre of books. Really enjoyed the plot and characters throughout this book, other than, you know, the bad guys. I will definitely be reading more by Melissa, I am hooked.

This was a fine book. It didn't wow me but it was enjoyable. A mashup of murder mystery and the paranormal. Makes for a great October read.

Words can’t describe how much I loved this book. It sucked me right in from page one. The pacing is magnificent, there’s just the right touch of humor, and it invoked some of my favorite genres: mystery and paranormal. I can’t wait to see what this author comes out with next!
