P.G. Wodehouse

3.88 AVERAGE

I finally got to read a P.G. Wodehouse book. Many people have recommended him to me, and I don't know what took me so long! Wodehouse is a master comedic writer! His plots are frankly ridiculous, and there are a lot of comedic misunderstandings happening throughout. This was one of those books that when I read it, I was thinking, "how did someone come up with this?" because it is just so clever in its misunderstandings and dialog.
I am interested in reading some of Wodehouse's more famous novels such as one of the Jeeves novels in the future. And despite this not being a super famous novel of his, I thought it was extremely entertaining and fun!

Another humorous read written by the funny PG Woodehouse! I loved the situational setups! It bordered on ridiculous but were still believable. I loved the character Weatherby and his shenanigans.

Wodehouse at his best, absolutely hilarious

Fun, funny, clever and it was a great distraction for a few hours from all the coronavirus terror. Grateful to have this time to read. Prayers to all in danger and suffering.

Enjoyable Wodehouse story featuring another dysfunctional American family in one of England's stately homes.

I mostly slept through this but I liked what I heard so I'm keeping it.
