I love the chemistry between Archer and Bree, all the love they deserve and all the trauma they got. They are perfect for each other. No one will compare to them, they are my fav couple! And my fav husband is now Archer Hale, everything about him. He is thoughtfull, respectfull, lovely and just a dream.

Leider keine 5 sondern 4,75…warum? weil ich einfach nicht all zu sehr mitgenommen wurde und kinda wars mir zu arg mit bree is perfect wegen ihrem slim body? Idk irwas hat mich genervt…und ich wurde nicht so gepackt dass ich jetzt jede stunde drüber nachdenken muss…naja egal, tolles buch wirklich!

It’s interesting to read the polarized reviews. I definitely was in a particular headspace that contributed to my binging of this book and perhaps the emotional gut punches that I felt over the course of the story were influenced by my mental state, so I’ll be interested to see if a reread will change my opinion.
Regardless, I will happily place Archer on my shelf of favourite book boyfriends! I am as smitten as Bree quickly became. There’s just something about two tortured souls finding comfort with one another and growing together along the way. I appreciated the differing POVs, Bree’s, & both Archer’s past & present, to round out and provide insight into their respective psyche’s.
