The perfect love story. Touching, tear jerking, & makes you want to snuggle up to the one you call home.

The ending had me struggling to breathe, but I made it.

This book was beautiful. Not only did I love the romance, but the growth of the characters, the way they worked through their grief, and the work they put into healing and learning about themselves was all so incredibly well written. I loved Bree and Archer, and so appreciated that they worked to understand each other’s language and loved each other so well. Such a perfect romance to read this summer 🤍

If you are in a reading slump (like I was), pick up this book. If you want a truly beautiful romance with everything a romance should encompass: deep feelings, mutual support, understanding, amazing physical and emotional chemistry, pick up this book.

This book taught me so much about judgment, perception, trauma and acceptance. It will tug on your heartstrings. Archer and Bree have a love story that has quickly become one of my favourites. Archer was kind, loving, smart and devoted. His self-awareness and willingness to want to improve himself in order to be the best partner to Bree was inspiring. Bree was the definition of compassionate. She saw Archer for Archer without hesitation. She gave him the chance nobody else had dared to do. She believed in him and she loved him unconditionally: flaws and all. They truly deserved one another and I love when a romance has two equally deserving love interests.

The only reason I won't give it five stars is because I felt at time the writing style was a bit clumsy and the fixation on the hero's size you often find in romances because quite tiring. But it didn't take away from my enjoyment. I finished this book in less than 12 hours and for someone who has been reading the same book for 22 days, that is quite an improvement.

I'm glad I finally took the plunge to read this book. Well done Mia Sheridan.
