I love the evolution of Gabriel Allon and his team. My only regret is that I've finished the 518 pages so quickly and now must wait for months for the next iteration.

Daniel Silva has done it again! if you love action & mystery Daniel Silva is the author for you! All of his books have you at the edge of your seat and give you insight into how different intelligence services opperate & work together along with the politics behind it all. The characters are always multi dimensional & pulling off stunts you can only dream of accomplishing. I personally love the books Gabriel is in the most but all of them are fantastic & will have you holding your breath. Once you pick this one up you won’t be able to put it down until you see the outcome. One of the best ones i’ve read yet! 10/10 would recommend if your into the genre of action & suspense & if you love spy books.

If you like contemporary, intrigue, spy type books then you will be happy reading be this. I prefer mine a bit less sensationalist and sorta... glorifying of the powers that be and 'what must be done too keep the world safe' cheering.

As I read this book I decided that Daniel Silva is my favorite author. His writing is above everyone else. House of Spies and is a really good book and enjoyable to read. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this addition to the Gabriel Allon series. This one happily did not have the kidnapping added to the resolution to draw out the tale. It also did not have (also happily) another female character falling for Allon. This one also played out the ISIS situation developed in the previous book.
Traditional page turner with some jinns thrown in for fun.

Still a good book, but Silva does follow a similar formula.
