I love Lauren Graham. I love Gilmore Girls. I love my own coffee obsessed mom :) This book was lovely & I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Lauren talk about her own life and experiences as an actress (plus the Gilmore Girls details of course). I found it particularly helpful when she talked about the “kitchen timer” method for writing. I’m not a writer, but I thought it could come in handy when trying to accomplish other tasks. I also loved her commentary on phone usage, diet culture, and singleness. What a delight!

I've just recently started getting into biographies. This one is great! I loved it, she has such a talkative and fun voice!

Light and frothy, like a very long Lorelei Gilmore monologue, but still enjoyable. There are a lot of good laughs, and a few thoughtful insights. The sections on Gilmore Girls might disappoint long-time fans; there's nothing there we didn't already know.

Love Lauren Graham and Gilmore Girls! Absolutely love her personality and being able to listen to the Audiobook made this so much better. 'Old Lady Jackson' and the Look Up chapter was by far my favorite.
I did skip What It Was Like Part 2, as I didn't watch the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and will go back to that chapter once I watch it.

So authentic to Lauren Graham

This book is a precious gem if you loved Parenthood and Gilmore Girls. Lauren not only gives us special tidbits about herself, she tells about her incredible experiences on both of her hit shows. If you are a Gilmore Girls fan, I suggest you have a box of tissues handy for the last chapter. I cried through every last word. This is a must read!!
