Déçu. J'espérais plus de Gilmore Girls. Elle parle de la dernière saison de la série dans le dernier quart du livre mais ce qu'elle raconte est assez superficiel. J'aurais aimé qu'elle analyse son personnage, ses relations avec les autres, sa psychologie, son évolution, ce qu'elle avait mis d'elle dans ce rôle, dans quelle mesure il avait changé sa manière d'être en dehors des plateaux de tournage. Rien de tout ça ou si peu. L'impression qu'elle ne veut se fâcher avec personne alors elle parle très peu des acteurs qu'elle côtoie, et on doit se contenter le plus souvent de l'écouter parler fringues, coiffures, régimes, casting, agent, argent. Bref, c'est pas un livre, c'est un blog.

Gilmore Girls is my all time favorite show so when I found out about this book, I just had to read it! I'm so excited that Lauren Graham is coming out with another book this November and I can't wait to read it!
I read and listened to this book and I love how Lauren narrated it herself. This book was a compilation of stories about Lauren's life, how she got started in the acting world, as well as behind the scenes of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
In Talking As Fast As I Can, Lauren discusses how she sat down to binge watch all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls and reflects back on the days of being Lorelai Gilmore.
This book had me in my feels as I grew up watching Gilmore Girls and it made me reminisce on those days of when I would watch the show and then call my grandma right after so we could talk about what just happened. ❤️ As Lauren Graham questions many times, "Didn't you think the ending was sort of a cliffhanger?" Yes, Lauren, I do believe it was a cliffhanger and I, as many others wish there would be A Year in the Life season 2.
