I love this book! It's not just because of the fact that she is Lauren Graham and that she is amazing in Gilmore Girls but because I love her writing. I love the way that she wrote this book. It's like my mind was following along with each tangent that she went off on. It makes her story more relatable and people more likely to listen to her words of wisdom. Love love love this book!

Listened to this as an audiobook as both a Gilmore Girls and Parenthood fan. It’s nice how Lauren reflects back and gives fun tidbits about both of those shows.
Love Lauren Graham and Gilmore Girls. I liked hearing about her life. Would have loved more Gilmore Girls or even more Parenthood details. Loved her in both! I also loved that you could tell it was her writing/talking/style through the whole book.

(Read via audiobook) I really enjoyed listening to this via audiobook - it was so fun to have Lauren share her stories first hand. Like we were friends and she was recounting the stories for my entertainment.
She was funny and sarcastic and satirical. I laughed out loud more than once. I’m also impressed as I’ve always loved her as Lorelei and now I love her as an author too. It actually got me inspired to write!
My only downside is that I couldn’t see any of the images via audiobook and the frequent naming of actors names who I don’t know by name got somewhat confusing. Is it also horrible that I wish that everything hadn’t be so sweet and sugar coated? What about the challenges and hardships she has undoubtedly faced? Would have liked a few of those I guess.
Anyway, worth a read (or listen) if you have been a fan of her work! It was nice having Lorelei back again ;)
