A lot of this was hard to get through bc of the middle-aged mom Facebook humor and constant meta “haha you are reading a book I am writing!” stuff like I felt as if I was reading my mom’s text messages to me all compiled into one long memoir lmfao but eventually it actually manages to become endearing bc lauren graham is just inherently the most endearing person on planet earth. It was so surreal getting to read diaries from the set of Gilmore girls a year in the life and I found myself getting teary eyed so often, especially at the end of the bonus chapter. I also learned so much about the show as whole, like I had no idea the music shop owner was Carole King?? Who sings the theme song??? Like THE Carole King? This was a fun read and I hope Lauren continues to get roles in the future where her light can really shine through like it did all those years with Lorelei.

Super fun and cute! It is interesting to hear Lauren's perspective on life and being a normal person just with celebrity status. Her banter makes you laugh and her stories touch your heart. Gives such great perspective on Gilmore Girls if you are a fan of the show. The tid bits she mentions throughout the book give you something to look for when watching the show now. Sometimes it feels like the story gets a bit sidetracked and all over the place but by the end of the chapter it ties back together. Cute and quick read!

Loved this so much. Funny, sad, nostalgic, wonderful.

Easy audiobook listen for the summer. Lauren graham is literally her character Lorelai. It was just too easy and fun

I love Lauren Graham-especially in Gilmore Girls and Parenthood.
But I found myself skipping chapters that didn’t involve either of those shows.

This is such an engaging and fast read. I'm a die-hard Gilmore Girls fan so this book was my chance to have an inside scoop. Reading it just confirmed what I already knew: Lauren Graham and I should be best friends! She's witty, fun, and grabs readers from the first page. The parts about Ed Herrmann had me so choked up! And will someone please return Lauren's damn coat? Sheesh..thieves!

I especially like the chapter  where she talked about behind the scenes of Gilmore Girls and what her favorite costumes were.
