This was a bit of a different read for me. I read this in anticipation for Tom Holland's role in the movie. This was a dark, hard, realistic, made me walk away novel. I enjoyed this book and found myself crying and angry with it multiple times.

Not my fave. It reminded me a lot of Catcher in the Rye, another book with an unlikeable narrator rambling and a struggle to pull out a plot. There were a lot of acronyms and slang terms I felt at sea with. Overall just not the book for me.
