I’m a little nervous to admit that I really loved this book… because if any of you pick it up you might be questioning if I’m okay in the head based on the subject matter and how dark this book gets. Here is why I loved it though.

Okay, so I went into this completely blind and then about halfway, I thought I had stumbled into some monster porn unbeknownst, but THEN it got really good, and I understood what was happening.

Such a brief story with such a packing punch. An accurate reflection upon personal needs and abuse and the space between them.

'Let The Right One In'-esque horror graphic novel about romanticizing your pain.
Three Stars is too low but Four Stars is too high, this app should have half-star ratings.
I kinda wish this was a little longer because this 20-30 minute read has a great ending that deserves the extra "umph" created by a longer page count, giving us more time to marinate in its themes of trauma, abuse and artistic integrity.
Still, pretty solid! Could see this being the basis for a good movie a few years down the line, considering it's paced and plotted like a screenplay. Recommended
