This is a story that invites you to feel, to become part of the story, to laugh, to cry, to wonder, to celebrate, to mourn, to believe in magic and the power of stories. Stories that tell us who we were, who we are, and who we are to become.

I was poised to read this all in one sitting... instead, I got sleepy and had to put the story away for the night. It was important for me to be able to feel the whole story with my whole heart. I had to be awake, to be aware, to be present to appreciate all that it had to offer.

I am thankful for the gift of this story. It compels me to think of my own story and perhaps one day I will tell it.
