Holy shit, this volume was hilarious yet heartwarming at the same time! I loved seeing Kaguya stand up for Ishigami and stand by her word to help him. I loved Ishigami's reactions to Kaguya's admittedly terrifying speech and behavior when she approached him to help with his studies, and I loved her reaction after he got his results. She's such an awesome character and I love her too much!

The board game chapter was fun and seeing everyone's reactions never got old. The chapters signaling the end of the student council were equal parts hilarious yet disheartening. Seeing a group of people who, for all their faults and feelings, really enjoyed their time together now having to disband was sad. But of course, we get that cliffhanger that keeps my hopes up and I'm certainly not going to complain about that!

Another great volume that was equal parts emotional and amusing, an absolute joy to read!

Pretty much all of the problems in this series is because the characters overthink everything. Kaguya and Miyuki both want something, but want the other person to admit it first, and thus they overthink everything they say, and everything the other person says, and how to react and what reaction that will cause. It's gone so far beyond a game between them at this point, I think.
There are some light chapters in the beginning, including a girls' day out, and some conflict/helpful studying between Kaguya and Ishigami. And also Ai pushes Kaguya regarding how little progress she's made with Miyuki. But then it's time for a new student council to take over, as they're going on to becoming third years. Which means they could try again, or there could be new people in their roles.
The reactions and the relationships are a bit ridiculous in this series. It's a lot of fun to follow.
