I have no idea how to start this. I really wanted to love this book.
The main characters were maybe somewhere a little likeable, mainly frustrating. Their growth was slow and sometimes non existent. It was a depressing story with a sort of hopeful outcome.
The thing that annoyed me the most is the way dialogue was written, no indication on what was dialogue and what was a thought or memory.
All in all I read it rather quickly and there was something there, just not for me.

It was too slow, always going back and forth, honestly kinda boring
Just couldn't get into it and then I skipped to watching the series on Hulu so it's kind of spoiled
