I just really love the wild ride of mid-climax PJO where everything is about to start clicking together but hasn't just quite breached the surface. It's plot-driven but focuses on the children of the Big Three and feels like a character-driven filler episode that actually ends up being critical and lead to consequences later on in the series.

The pressure that Annabeth's fall gave on Percy's feelings for her and the agency of the situation, the concept of the Hunters of Artemis and Thalia skating around the prophecy and leaving that fate to Percy, Bianca being selfish instead of the perfect sister and pushing Nico to a dark place that we don't truly see the extent of until wayyy later in Riordan's discography? 

Amazing, inspiring, scary, 10/10.  

Zoe's character is phenomenal and I sobbed, Thalia was cool and I sobbed once again, the Atlas fight is iconic, and I sobbed at the end when my poor emo baby Nico got the news ;;

Definitely worthy of 4.5 stars for me and is my favorite in the entire series.
