Delightful! Some classic banter with my favorite Doctor and my favorite companion.

The Doctor: Reading broadens the mind, Leela.
Leela: I thought you said that was travel.
The Doctor: Ah.
Leela: And before that, you said experience broadened it.
The Doctor: Did I?
Leela: Which is it?
The Doctor: Oh - the experience of reading while traveling, obviously.

Leela: Shall I run him through?
The Doctor: I suppose so. No, no, no, better not - it tends to be considered impolite.

The Doctor [to Father Harpin]: I can only assume this is an exercise in exorcism. Would I be right?

Father Harpin: But - you're ghosts!
The Doctor: We are not ghosts. Give me your finger.
Father Harpin: Ow!
The Doctor (very reasonably): See? We're as real as you are. Ghosts don't bite.
Leela: I can bite you too, if that will help.

Jalnik: Are you mocking me, Doctor?
The Doctor: Yes, I am. I'm so glad you noticed.

Charlotte (to her friend from the future, who has come back with her to 1977): "Come on, you. I'm going to have to introduce you to the wonder that is David Bowie."

I laughed out loud a few times during Doctor Who: The Foe from the Future. Tom Baker's quips were delightful. The story however seemed to drag on a bit. Funny how that's my main complaint about Tom Baker era Doctor Who on TV too. There always seemed to be so much unnecessary padding, and I'd get groggy waiting for the resolution. Well, who knows? Maybe I'll enjoy it more the second time around.
