This book was… cute. It was… um.
It wasn’t bad. But it did definitely drag at parts.
I think the format and writing could be a bit irritating for some, though for me it helped to think of it as Jack’s personal journal.
There were a lot of tangents on 70’s-80’s pop culture that I really couldn’t have cared less about.
I think the appeal of this was the journey of a young kid growing up, but again, it’s hard to relate to, because it takes place in the 80’s and no one really does high school like that.
