that's a solid 2.5! partly because while i feel creeped out by how our main character lives and addresses her depression, i have to commend ottessa's writing? it's easy to read and mildly entertaining. i thank this book for leading me to her books because i am now interested with her other works.
that's all i can say. the more i think about the main character, the more my head hurts. maybe i need a shot of that infermiterol.

Got so much better towards the final third, but nearly DNR'd towards halfway because of such slow pace. Some of the lines were so poetic and I actually loved the story, but it just needed to be shorter or more developed I think.

don’t really know what to think about it yet
Didn’t like the protagonist, but there’s something to it

2.5 ⭐️
