If you love Maus, as much as you can love a book about the horrors of the genocide of Jewish people and the scars it left for generations to come, then MetaMaus is a must-read. In MetaMaus, Spiegelman breaks down not just his most famous work, but everything that has come before and after it. We get a great in-depth interview about Spiegelman's start in comics and his influence (and those who influenced him) on the medium. Basically, anything one might want to know more about Spiegalman and his work can be found compiled in this book.

Technically, I didn't finish this as I had trouble getting through the transcript at the end. Not only is it very long, but it is just very tough to read emotionally. I hope one day to finish it in its entirety.
