Even better than the first. So many twists and turns but in the end every piece of the puzzle fit perfectly. I love Bardugo’s characters - flawed but every one acting true to themselves.

There's a lot going on here - I don't think it hit the mark quite as much as the first book did for me, but I still loved the magic system created for this world and the interesting way it interacts with the mundane world.

Do I give books too often 5 Stars?? Maybe. But this one deserves it. It was awesome, just amazing, emotional, dark, scary and the characters are so interesting and you care for them. ALSO FINALLY. ykiyk.
I need a next book DESPERATELY.
