Previous Review: Really more of an excuse to go back and revisit old friends and events. Not that it is bad, but having familiarity with the 'verse will make it all the funnier. I do love this book's description in the timeline.

But this rereading was much better because I pulled off the cover -- the back illustration looks nothing like my idea of Ivan (Galeni, yes, but not Ivan), and it managed to get in the way of enjoying the book the first time round because I had battling Ivans in every scene, while it simultaneously ruined my opportunity to conceptualize Tej & Rish.
