Spice with romance and a smidge of suspense.

I particularly appreciate that the main characters both communicate (sometimes not well) and work individually to work through their own issues. This looks to be a theme for this series/author. Again with a smidge of the emotional hand-wringing, yet again it was not excessive enough to make me put down the book.

Spice:
menage with a virgin. Another interesting introduction to a set of kinks. I appreciate the difference in body types, hang-ups and intimacy styles from this author - as it can get old to just get the same cut copy stuff book after book in a series
.

Looking forward to more in this series and from this author.

I'm not sure what the best way is for me to talk about this book. I'm no prude--I read romance and erotica, and I like my fair share of both--but I found myself practically laughing throughout this book. There was just something about the main female character, Kimber, that was so unattractively damsel-in-distress-ish that I didn't care at all what happened to her. The two males, Luc and Deke, I found to be too similar and unrealistically MALE. Fine enough if you like wish fulfillment and dream-come-true romantic endings, but I was ambivalent at the end of this.

Audible. Horrible. Couldn’t finish. Wasted credit.

This one was not as good as the first one. I love Deke though and I liked how Kimber was a prissy girl. I hate those type of girls. I felt a little bad for Luc but not too much because sometimes I felt that he just wasn't getting the hint that Deke and Kimber wanted to be alone. I think had he caught a clue earlier he could have made things a little easier for all of them. I will however be moving on to the next book which I understand has Luc in it, I did like his character.

Holy shit that was intense and so much. The trauma, pain, and intensity of the sexual interactions was amazing. I am dying to find out what happens with Luc next.

Once again Shayla Black creates characters we instantly fall in love with and a storyline that locks us in from the opening pages. Kimber has more gusto then she portrays. Deke while broken is not destroyed and Luc while on the sidelines brings an understanding that molds them all together. This is not just a menage story - this is a honest portrayal of finding love when you least expect it. This series really needs to be made into movies.

Much better story than Wicked Ties. This plot kept me interested beyond the physical aspects, though those were just as intriging. I didn't even realize Deke was the same guy in the menage with Morgan and Jack. Luc was a great character, especially as a roommate/sex buddy because he was so different than Deke. I felt bad when Kimber found out that she was never pregnant and for Luc. I am glad that Deke didn't stick with the menage because he was scarred that she would kill herself or something. I am so glad that she didn't stay with the popstar for very long because he was a head case, case in point, his manage tried to kill her. I wasn't sure I was going to continue on with this series becasue the first one didn't really do much for me, but after reading this story I am looking forward to the next.
