This edition was hand written & illustrated by my daughter Jessica (with help from Jude & Dahlia). So, yeah, it’s literally the best!

This was an interesting one because it took a long time to figure out how Shasta and Aravis were going to fit in the Narnian world that we already knew. Not quite as much sarcastic humor as the previous books, but perhaps more of an adventure. It was still a fun read.

Not a fan of the negative Middle Eastern/South Asian stereotypes, and the fact that they were painted as bad people. And not a fan of Bree’s pride. Besides that, this was a lovely adventure story.

If you’re a big fan of the characters from the Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, this book might be a bit boring. Didn’t feel that invested in the characters introduced in this book and nothing new was added that we didn’t already know about the world of Narnia

This is the kind of book where the beggining is kind of interesting, but when you keep reading you just get bored and drop the book away. I'm a very organized person, and leaving a book unread gives me nightmares, so that's why I had to finish it. The story itself wasn't of my liking. It's well-written, but the characters aren't that relatable or interesting. It's a pass for me.
