I struggled finding an audio and came across this one so I thought I’d give it ago on audio, I ended up really enjoying it, was very easy to follow, I enjoyed the family dynamic and slowly seeing the cracks start to appear. Ngl I really didn’t like Rachel for a good portion of the book, but I felt like it made sense to the story. I actually didn’t guess how the story was going to play out but I like that as it keeps me guessing. I won’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who may potentionally read but I definitely recommend if you enjoy YA books, that are easy to follow.
5⭐️ Decided to pick this up after watching the agggtm Tv show as it got me in the mood for a crime mystery book. And this definitely did not disappoint, I feel like maybe I could have guessed some of the twists but I was honestly just enjoying the ride and getting hooked in by all the new information that was happening. Holly Jackson definitely does not disappoint when it comes to these kind of books! Very enjoyable read!!
5⭐️ — holly jackson mě nikdy nezklame a tohle byla nejlepší kniha od ní! Ja nikdy nejsem moc šokovaná z plot twistů v knihách, ALE TADY? posledních 100 stran jsem měla bradu pořád jenom na zemi. Bylo to napsané v jejím klasickém stylu, takže vtipně a napínavě, dívka se snažila vyřešit záhadu a k tomu tak byla menší romantická linka! Mám k tomu menší poznatky, ale jinak ji strašně moc doporučuji!

I really liked the characters and generally was surprised about some twists and turns. However the ending seemed a bit too far fetched for my taste. Plus: anything with a long abduction story seems a bit too fictional for me. Still, it was a page turner with lots of good conflicts and some (while not all) unforeseen developments. For an easy crime novel definitely a recommendation

This was SLOW for more than the first half. When it finally picked up it was really good. Lots and lots of twists. The details wove together well. I didn’t like it that Ash left in the end. Would have been nice to know if Carter gave up dancing since it seemed like Sherry was the one pushing her into it.
